School warning signals alert drivers to the possibility of children entering and exiting the school and activate during start and end of school times. Hard Wired and Solar options are available and all signs comply with relevant regulations. Full installation including civil works or supply only of materials are available depending on requirements.
Hard Wired School Warning Signals comprises of two Children Crossing signs (one each side of the school entrance) each fitted with a two aspect amber WigWag signal (210mm). A time clock fitted within the pole controls the activation of the flashing signals and is set to operate within the times of opening and closing of the school or as otherwise instructed. Power for each of the two signs is taken from the nearest electricity supply.
Solar Powered School Warning Signals comprises of two Children Crossing signs (one each side of the school entrance) each fitted with a two aspect amber WigWag signal (210mm). A time clock fitted within the pole controls the activation of the flashing signals and is set to operate within the times of opening and closing of the school or as otherwise instructed. Each of the two signs is powered locally through the harnessing of solar power. A solar panel is fitted above each sign and a battery enclosure fitted behind the sign. This option removes the need for expensive civil works needed for connection to nearest electricity supply and ongoing electricity charges
